Hoping that your trip was pleasant and that you enjoyed your stay, we warmly welcome you and remind you that we are at your disposal! Below you will find some information that could be useful during your stay and some simple rules to follow for a correct and nice stay.
Useful information
• WATER
Water is a precious commodity, even more so on Elba Island, especially in the summer months, with the influx of tourists, the demand exceeds the capacity of the aqueduct, which therefore no longer supplies water and you have to rely on private supplies.
The house is equipped with two large tanks, but it is still necessary to be careful and avoid waste. Small precautions are enough, such as turning off the water while brushing your teeth or soaping yourself! Please take short showers and use the washing machine as little as possible. Thank you!
- GAS
The gas cylinders are located at the back outside the house. If you smell gas when the stove is on, it means that one of the two cylinders is running out. Just turn off the open tap and open the closed one to continue using it! Please report it to the agency.
- LIGHT
The house has a normal 3khw contract, it can happen, as in all houses, that the electricity goes out due to overload. The meter is located above the washing machine in the space under the stairs.
- TV
The TV with decoder receives all the main Italian channels and many foreign ones. To change channels you need to use the decoder remote control (HUMAX), while the LG remote control of the TV is used to set the image and volume.
In case of malfunctions, check that the card is properly inserted in the slot with the chip facing downwards; that the TV is set to HDMI, and the HDMI jack is properly inserted into the “TV” socket.
- AIR CONDITIONING
The three rooms have air conditioning. They are equipped with remote control. The basic controls are
MODE (changes the operating mode): auto – cooling – dehumidification – heating.
The three units must all be set to the same mode, otherwise the control unit will crash!
FAN (changes the fan speed): auto – low – medium – high – very high
VANE (changes the air flow vanes) auto – 5 positions from vertical to horizontal – oscillation
TOO COOL (to increase the temperature) TOO WARM (to lower it)
THE BARBECUE is outside near the corner of the house, please leave it clean!
- DON’T SMOKE IN THE HOUSE! Please throw cigarette butts only in the unsorted waste (not in the garden or in the vases or on the paths…), they contain tar and nicotine that disperse in the environment and damage it as they damage our lungs… Do not leave them on the beach!

Regulation
Our penalties

Kitchenette: we kindly ask you to leave the kitchenette clean and tidy, otherwise we will apply a penalty of 30,00 € which will be retained from the security deposit.
Waste: we kindly ask you to differentiate and throw away all waste daily according to the calendar provided to you, if there are any leftovers we ask you to dispose of them at the collection points of the Esa company (you will be provided with the calendar with the locations); otherwise we will apply a penalty of 50,00 € that will be retained from the security deposit.
Property cleaning: if any problems are found with the cleaning of the property, it is mandatory to report it immediately upon delivery of the property, we will take care of sending the cleaner again, we will not be able to reimburse cleaning reported on the day of check-out, or in the days following the day of arrival.
Keys: at check-in a set of keys will be given to customers, in case they are damaged or lost we will apply a penalty of between 50,00 and 100,00 € (depending on the type of key or lock) which will be retained from the security deposit.
The perfect guest..

- Throws away your rubbish yourself following the recycling calendar (which you can find on the following pages) and do not throw any type of waste into the toilet.
- Remembers that check-out is at 09:00.
- Upon departure, leave the furniture arrangement unchanged and return the property (including the kitchenette) reasonably tidy.
- Remembers that you have a maximum of 24 hours to submit any complaints.
- Respects silence during the night hours and early afternoon.
- Takes care of the residence and the objects.
- When he goes out, he remembers to turn off the lights, TV and air conditioning.
- Any awnings or umbrellas must be closed at check-out, even if it is windy during your stay.

- On the island, water is a scarce and precious resource, to be used without waste.
- It is preferable to use running water only for personal hygiene and for cooking, because, although it is drinkable, its taste is not pleasant.
- You are surrounded by beauty! You are in one of the most important marine and natural parks in Italy…look beyond the beaches and enjoy the show!
